ScandiBox was founded by husband and wife team Tom & Izzie. 

Tom is a joiner by background and became a gardener in recent years to enable himself to work within nature every day. He loves nothing more than being in the outdoors, and has a passion for health, wellness and exercise. Discovering saunaing and creating a business offering this to others became the perfect storm. He built the sauna with the help of his dad, and used his passion for wellness to bring ScandiBox Saunas to life. “I feel privileged to be able to share the amazing effects of saunaing with my local community and am passionate about spreading the word about how great it is for the mind, body and soul.” 

Izzie is a Physiotherapist within the NHS and private sector, giving her a wealth of knowledge when it comes to maintaining health and wellbeing. Beside educating clients on a daily basis about staying well, she takes active steps to maintain her own mental wellbeing and resilience. Regular sauna use has been key for her. “After a busy day working in the hospital, there is nothing better than winding down in the sauna. I sleep so well afterwards and feel ready for another hectic day.”
